History

HENNLICH was founded as a small trading company in the town of Duchcov in what was then Czechoslovakia. The place where HENNLICH was founded was no coincidence, as Duchcov was located in the center of the industrial region and the company initially focused on wholesale trade for the mining and metallurgical industries and metallurgy.

After the World War II and more than 20 years after the company was founded - in 1945 - Hermann Hennlich was forced to leave what was then Czechoslovakia due to his German origin and the associated repression. He and his family settled in Schärding and re-established the company.

HENNLICH & ZEBISCH GmbH is founded as a company specializing in seals - with sales representatives in Vienna, Linz and Graz.

In 1989, it was decided to expand the company's activities to include the manufacture of specialized plastic turned parts. In this year, the socio-political changes in Eastern Europe also accelerated and brought completely new economic prospects.

The fall of the “Iron Curtain” opened up new opportunities for further expansion. In 1991, the company HENNLICH-Industrietechnik was founded in the Czech Republic with headquarters in Litomerice and a branch office in Bratislava. This foundation marked the beginning of the HENNLICH Group's expansion in Europe.

After the division of Czechoslovakia, the independent company HENNLICH Industrietechnik in Slovakia, based in Bratislava, was founded in 1993.
In the same year, the company HENNLICH-Ipartechnika Kft. was founded in Hungary.

Foundation of HENNLICH-Industrijska tehnika in Radovjica, Slovenia.

Start of HENNLICH d.o.o. in Zabrze, Poland on 01.10.2001.

Start of seal production in Litomerice and Brno, Czech Republic, and Kecskemet, Hungary.

Foundation of HENNLICH SP. z o.o. in Zagreb, Croatia.

New construction of storage and production facilities for the “Highspeed Service Centre”, or ‘HSC’ for short, in Suben near Schärding, Austria.

Founding of the companies HENNLICH-Industrietechnik in Bulgaria and Romania with offices in Plovdiv and Arad.

Establishment of the company HENNLICH Industry Technology in Serbia. Launch of Hennlich Industry Technology in the Ukraine with an office in Dneprodzerzinsk.

Extension building for sealing technology in Suben near Schärding, Austria

HENNLICH Industry Technology was founded in Minsk, Belarus.

Foundation of HENNLICH Russia in Tver (industrial city 200 km north-east of Moscow)

HENNLICH Czech Republic supplied goods to Chinese and Indian markets.

HENNLICH started the construction of the company building in Litomerice, Czech Republic.

The HENNLICH Group founded subsidiaries in Macedonia and France.

Sales development by HENNLICH-Macedonia in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo.

We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of HENNLICH Czech Republic, 25 years of HENNLICH in Slovenia, 20 years of HENNLICH Poland, the 15th anniversary of HENNLICH Serbia and the 10th anniversary of HENNLICH France.

The HENNLICH Group currently has 22 branches throughout Europe, employs over 800 people and achieves a combined turnover of 90 million euros.

Opening of performance centre for industrial technology
A state-of-the-art warehouse, production and administration building is built in St. Marienkirchen, just 4 kilometres as the crow flies from the second site in Suben.
It was built on a commercial property acquired in 2019, which previously housed a former joinery. By revitalising this derelict site, the environment and resources were conserved.

TF Feldmann GmbH is a specialised manufacturing company that produces high-quality bellows made of leather and technical fabrics, heat protection covers, expansion joints and technical leather products.
TF Feldmann GmbH has been a HENNLICH Group company since 2022 and is based in Oberhausen, Germany.

Fresh look for the 100th anniversary
HENNLICH has introduced a new corporate design in time for its 100th anniversary. This laid the foundation for a contemporary look - modern, clear and future-orientated without forgetting its roots.

With the founding of HENNLICH Kazakhstan, the HENNLICH Group is further expanding its international presence.
With this latest expansion, the company is now represented in 18 countries and employs over 850 people who work every day to develop innovative industrial technology solutions for customers worldwide.
